On the very beginning of Women Regional Handball League, comes the match you don't want to miss:
Krim Mercator vs. Budućnost T-Mobile
Double CL winner and Slovenian Champion hosting
Cup Winners Cup winner in 2006 and Champion of Montenegro
Two teams already met on preparation tournament in Koprivnica last month.
In friendly match Buducnost defeated Krim 31:21 (11:10). Best scorer of the match was Montenegrin Jovanka Radicevic with 7 goals.
But this time match will be played in Ljubljana, so Krim will have important advantage of playing at home.
Duels between Slovenian and Montenegrin Champions always have guaranteed excitement. Both teams are well known as top European handball teams. This season they will once again compete in EHF's Champions League - amongst 16 best squads of Europe.
New coaches
Slovenian team is rejuvenated recently.
Marta Bon returned on coach position after 14 years.
Reinforcements for this season are two left backs - Hungarian international Renata Mortel and Serbian international Sanja Damjanovic.
New coach of Buducnost T-Mobile is Gyula Zsiga - Champions League winner in 1999 with Dunaferr and Silver Medal Winner from Olympics in Sidney 2000 with Hungarian NT.
Gabriella Kindl arrived in Podgorica on left back position;
Croatian international Tihana Ambros and Russian international Liudmila Mochalina are new line players.
All three of them bring experience in Montenegrin team.
Injuries
Bad luck with injuries continues for Krim. Liudmila Bodnieva, Tanja Oder, Manuela Hrnjic and Anja Argenti are on the list of injured players at the moment.
On the other side Gyula Zsiga can not count on Tihana Ambros, Andjela Dragutinovic and Biljana Pavicevic who are still recuperating.
Match Krim Mercator vs. Buducnost T-Mobile will be played in Ljubljana on Saturday at 19:00 hours.
