After Croatian goalkeeper Sanela Knezović, coming from Dunaferr, Budućnost T-Mobile will reinforce with a left winger also.

The new player is Slađana Grozdanić coming from the Serbian club Radnički NIS Petrol, where she played the first part of the season.

Her former club Radnički withdrew form the Serbian Super league due to financial reasons and she was close to move to Knjaz Miloš. But the call of Budućnost changed everything and Grozdanić signed a contract until the end of the season.

Montenegrin born

“It’s an honour and pleasure to be a player of Budućnost, especially to play in the Champions League. It’s a big challenge for me to be playing in Podgorica. It’s not necessary to talk about the quality of my new team; my ambitions coincide with the club’s, so I believe I will help Budućnost to keep doing well in CL,” said Slađana Grozdanić.

Grozdanić was born in Montenegro, Nikšić, where she began her career. After that she played for Serbian Crvena zvezda and Lasta. Because of the shoulder injury Grozdanić was out of the court for a while, but came back successfully this season. She was member of the Serbian national team at the European Championship in Sweden in 2006.
