Four WRHL teams are in European Top 7.

Women's Regional Handball League teams finalised Champions League season by taking 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th place in Europe. Hypo Niederösterreich is third, Budućnost T-Mobile fifth, Podravka Vegeta sixth and Krim Mercator seventh.

This makes WRHL strongest European league. For example Danish (GuldBageren) league had two participants amongst European Top 8 (Viborg and Ikast). Danish Viborg and Hungarian Györ will play in CL's finals and decide who will be next Champion of Europe.

Hypo defeated both CL finalists (Viborg and Györ), Budućnost didn't lose one single CL home match, Podravka started from qualifications winning nine CL matches and Krim managed to defeat CL finalist Viborg.

Excellent introduction to next WRHL season.
