Club was founded in 1999. At first they were focused on young categories mainly, but in 2007 Biseri Pljevlja entered in EHF's Challenge Cup competition and their ambitions grew stronger.
Clubs goal is to become a worthy opponent for Budućnost T-Mobile in Montenegrin Championship and also to achieve good results in WRHL and European competitions.
To do that they have great help of local community and Pljevlja Coal Mines. They have already strengthened the team with new players:
Mirjana Milenković - 24-year old goalkeeper of Montenegrin national team, arriving from Budućnost T-Mobile.
Slađana Grozdanić - left wing of Budućnost T-Mobile. 26-year old was a member of Serbian national team but injuries prevented her to show all her potentials.
Ivana Stojanović - promising left back returning back home from France. 21-year old showed great performance on Women’s Junior World Championship 2008 playing for Montenegro.
Jelena Marković - right back of Montenegrin national team. With only 19 years of age Marković already has experience from playing in one of the best European clubs, Budućnost T-Mobile.
But that is not all. Management of Biseri Pljevlja announced that new signings can be expected soon.
