30 January 2010
Croatians suffered first defeat in this season - Hypo won with 33:25 (18:15).
It seems that early start of the match (11:00) was the reason why Podravka today did not play good. Hypo simply took advantage of "sleepy“ Podravka who was not on the same level like two days before.
In 15th minute Podravka even had a lead 7:10. But in 24th minute Hypo took the lead on 13:12 and took control over the game also. First half ended with margin of three goals in favour of home team - 18:15. In second half margin just increased.
Five players of Hypo managed to score more than four goals, while only Zebić on Croatian side was able to hold on that level. Pasičnik did not play today because of injury. Nascimetno, Piedade, Mesquita and Rotis-Nagy scored many goals for Hypo, while best performance was shown by goalkeeper Terese Pedersen with 19 saves.
On Wednesday at 18:00 Podravka plays home match against Lokomotiva.
