In match almost without defence hosting team of final four Zaječar defeat Metalurg 40:36 and take the third place of this year competition.
Zajecar beat Metalurg today at the final tournament of the Regional League and also won third place. Zaječar are celebrated with score 40-36, at halftime 21:14. The game was more than fair and correct, Zaječar are better open and create an advantage that they managed to control all the way to the game. Beginning of the second part of the game marked the awakening of Metalurg, who with a few penalty shots managed to reduce the difference with just 3 goals. By the end of the match the more tangible difference ranged from 3 to 4 goals for Zajecar, but Metalurg players after yesterday's semifinals are not enough strength to cope with the host of the tournament. For this match could still say that is marked by two Sladjana, Sladjana Djerić, goalkeeper and Sladjana Pop-Lazic that the attack was more than happy and able to record nine goals in his account, while Sanja Damnjanović, regional league's top scorer put in seventh goals in this victory for third place. Best player in Metalurg was Kristina Kiki Liščević with 12 goals while other players were far below that.
Finally, Zajecar celebrated and deservedly won third place in the final tournament.
