Montenegrin Champions defeated Biseri in Pljevlja 44:21 (21:13). In 10th round Biseri suffered their eighth defeat, while Budućnost got seventh victory.
Biseri scored first goal on the match and played well until 6:8. After that Budućnost took over and won with margin of 23 goals, as expected.

Lokomotiva defeated Biseri in Zagreb 43:25 (22:14). It was seventh defeat for team from Pljevlja and second victory for Lokomotiva.This way Lokomotiva took revenge for defeat suffered in Pljevlja (29:27).

Krim Mercator defeated Biseri Pljevlja in Ljubljana 44:28. Montenegrins played good first half which ended with minimum advantage of home team – 17:16. Krim showed experience and quality in second half and deservedly win at the end.In 37th minute happened unfortunate accident - Ivana Stojanović hit her head on floor after falling and lost her consciousness for a while. She was taken to hospital immediately and after examinations she was released.

Austrian Champions defeated Budućnost T-Mobile in Südstadt 30:23 (14:11). It was advanced match of 14th round. This is second defeat for Montenegrin Champions and seventh victory for Hypo who is now on second place on WRHL table (in front of Budućnost who is third).
17 saves of Sanko
Sanko was brilliant on Hypo side with 17 saves. Nascimento scored 9 goals. For the guests Radičević scored seven goals (Radović, Jovanović and Kindl did not play because of injuries).

In 8th round of WRHL Podravka Vegeta defeated Lokomotiva in Koprivnica 34:29 (15:13). Guests showed great fighting spirit; on the other side home team played to win.
Lokomotiva started good having lead most of the time, all the way until 8:8. Than Podravka scored two consecutive goals for 10:8 and finished first half with result1 5:13. Despite mistakes Lokomotiva showed greater desire then the home team.
In second half Lokomotiva again took the lead 16:18 and 17:19. Podravka awakened only in 40th minute and with goals of Zebić, Šerić and Tatari went from 19:19 to 21:19. Team of Zdravko Zovko had more strength in the end of the match and finally won it with the score 34:29.
Goalkeeper Piršl, Peraica, Pušić and Vesna Milanović-Litre were best players in Lokomotiva team. Jelčić, Penezić and Zebić with assists of Petković and Pasičnik made the difference for Podravka.

Croatians suffered first defeat in this season - Hypo won with 33:25 (18:15).
It seems that early start of the match (11:00) was the reason why Podravka today did not play good. Hypo simply took advantage of "sleepy“ Podravka who was not on the same level like two days before.
In 15th minute Podravka even had a lead 7:10. But in 24th minute Hypo took the lead on 13:12 and took control over the game also. First half ended with margin of three goals in favour of home team - 18:15. In second half margin just increased.
Five players of Hypo managed to score more than four goals, while only Zebić on Croatian side was able to hold on that level. Pasičnik did not play today because of injury. Nascimetno, Piedade, Mesquita and Rotis-Nagy scored many goals for Hypo, while best performance was shown by goalkeeper Terese Pedersen with 19 saves.
On Wednesday at 18:00 Podravka plays home match against Lokomotiva.

Podravka Vegeta defeats Hypo 32:31 (17:14), takes top position on WRHL table and secures Final four.
Miranda Tatari recovered for today's match, but this time Anita Gaće was missing. She was substituted by young Ivana Dragišić, who had help from Vukojević and Petković. Pasičnik played on pivot position and was most active player today.
Good start
Croatian Champions showed good play in first part taking the lead from the very beginning. In the 10th minute they had the lead 7:1, in 17th minute 11:5, in 22nd minute it was 13:7. Although in 26th minute Hypo came closer to 13:11, home team finished first part with three goals of margin – 17:14.
Svitlana Pasičnik was best individual in first half scoring five goals. Even eight players in Podravka squad scored goals. Jelčić saved five shots. On other side, Sanko had seven saves, and Pedersen three. Nascimento proved the role of best WRHL with five goals scored.
Balanced game
Second half brought very balanced game and in 41st minute result was 22:22. Hypo took the lead on 26:28, but Podravka soon returned the advantage on 31:30. Pasičnik continued with good performance from first half and Podravka's goalkeepers did well too. In last minute of the match Pasičnik scored for 32:30 and Nascimento answered for 32:31. Podravka had only 32 seconds to go, Hypo took the ball in last five seconds, but did not score. This way team from Koprivnica won two more points.
Podravka Vegeta is now on top position of WRHL table with 13 points from six matches played.

Hypo Niederösterreich will visit Koprivnica on Wednesday. Austrian Champions are coming to play postponed match of 4th round against Podravka Vegeta. Match starts at 18 hours.
Hypo managed to enter CL's Main round. Podravka Vegeta did not. Once again team from Vienna will compete in same group with the best teams of Europe - Viborg, Oltchim and Dinamo.
Without Gaće
Unfortunately, Anita Gaće had to undergo surgery after having felt great pain in abdominal area during Croatian Championship match in Umag. Good news is that Miranda Tatari is getting better and she is expected to play on Wednesday.
Six matches played, eight to go
Podravka Vegeta so far played six matches in WRHL. Next week they will play three more (two against Hypo and one against Lokomotiva). Croatian Champions are still only undefeated team in WRHL, defending title from last season. Four best ranked teams from this season will play on Final four tournament.

Krim Mercator defeated Hypo in away match with 38:31 (16:18). This way team of Marta Bon took revenge for defeat suffered in last round of Champions League.

Friday brings first WRHL derby in 2010.
Hypo and Krim in Top 8
Both, Hypo and Krim secured their places amongst Top eight teams of Europe - together with Larvik, Viborg, Oltchim, Györ, Leipzig and Dinamo.
In last CL match played on 15th of January, Hypo defeated Krim in Maria Enzersdorf 28:26. Nascimento scored 9 goals. On other side Zascik scored 7 times. This was decisive match for Austrian Champions in order to enter Top 8. It was also first defeat for Slovenian Champions in this CL season - after five consecutive victories.
Since both teams have two defeats in WRHL, victory on Friday's match could be important for ranking before WRHL Final four starts.
Top match of WRHL starts at 12:00 on Friday. Referees are Matija Gubica and Boris Milošević from Croatia; delegate Edeltraut Berthold from Austria.
