"Fourth time luck"

Croatian Champions have great opportunity to win first trophy this season in front of strong teams like CL semi-finalist Hypo and three CL quarter-finalists.

Right wing of Podravka Vegeta and Croatian international Anita Gaće believes that her team can get first WRHL trophy:

“We know Hypo very well from Champions League. They made it to semi-finals and that tells everything about them. In this season we met three times, unfortunately they won all three matches. Last time it wasn't “third time luck“ but I do hope that this time it will be “fourth time luck“ for us. My wish is to win first trophy in this season in full hall on Friday.“

It is certain - winner of the match Podravka Vegeta vs. Hypo Niederösterreich will take the WRHL trophy. In case of a draw (and if Krim defeats Lokomotiva in last match) all four teams would have had 14 points. In that case Budućnost T-Mobile will win the first place, Podravka Vegeta second, Krim Mercator third and Hypo Niederösterreich fourth place.

Coach Zdravko Zovko can nout count on Maja Zebić for this important match. Good news is that Anita Bulath’s muscle is getting better and there is a chance that she will play.

Budućnost close season with a victory

Montenegrin Champions end WRHL season with victory against Lokomotiva 26:21 (11:8).

With great saves by Zeljko, Lokomotiva took the lead 0:2. Montenegrins soon equalized but excellent Zeljko did not let them to take significant lead. On the other side saves of Knezović gave push to Budućnost who first took 5:3 lead and then concluded first half with 11:8.

Best players of first half were the goalkeepers - Zeljko had 12 saves and Knezović 10.

At the beginning of second half Budućnost scored three consecutive goals for 14:8. Then Milenković entered the court and continued where Knezović has stopped. Margin soon increased on 22:14 and the winner was decided.
